Tree Haus With A View: Major Renovation After a Fire.

When fire took over a beloved second home, we worked with Rumor Design and the homeowner to create a contemporary ski lodge designed to maximize the views in every direction.

Before/After

Prior to the fire, the house, built in 1970, had small rooms which closed off the spectacular view. When you opened the front door, you would see a wall. Now, walking through the front door the full views of Steamboat Ski Mountain are showcased straight ahead.

In order to modernize, yet keep to the rustic roots, we worked with Rumor Design to create soft grey hues with rustic stone, beams and T&G ceilings to complement the clean lines.
